Planning a yacht day in Ibiza?

This Ibiza day charter itinerary is one of the most popular routes for guests looking to experience crystal-clear bays, beach clubs, swimming stops and some of the island’s most beautiful coastline, all within a single day.

Whether you’re chartering a luxury motor yacht, sailing yacht or catamaran, this route offers the perfect balance of relaxation, sightseeing and entertainment.

11:00 AM – Depart Ibiza Town

Your day begins from one of Ibiza’s marinas, where you’ll meet your skipper and crew before departing towards the southern coast of the island.

As you leave the marina you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Ibiza Old Town and Dalt Vila, one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.

Guests are welcomed aboard with refreshments before settling in for the cruise.

11:45 AM – Cruise Past Las Salinas

Heading south, you’ll pass the famous Las Salinas coastline.

Known for its white sand beaches and turquoise waters, this stretch of coast provides some of the best views in Ibiza.

Many guests choose to pause here briefly for photos and a quick swim before continuing towards Formentera.

12:30 PM – Swim Stop at Espalmador

Before reaching Formentera, most yachts stop at Espalmador.

This small private island is surrounded by shallow turquoise water that rivals destinations in the Caribbean.

It’s one of the most popular locations for:

  • Swimming
  • Paddleboarding
  • Snorkelling
  • Relaxing on deck

The calm anchorage makes it ideal for families and groups.

2:00 PM – Lunch at Ses Illetes, Formentera

After your swim stop, continue to Ses Illetes, consistently ranked among Europe’s most beautiful beaches.

Many guests choose to arrive by tender at one of Formentera’s famous waterfront restaurants.

Popular lunch options include:

  • Beso Beach
  • Juan y Andrea
  • El Pirata
  • Es Ministre

Advance reservations are highly recommended during peak season.

4:00 PM: Return to the Yacht & Nearby Swim Stop

After lunch, return to the yacht by tender and continue to a nearby anchorage for a relaxed afternoon swim.

Depending on the conditions, your captain may recommend anchoring close to Ses Illetes, Espalmador or another sheltered location around Formentera.

This is a great time to cool off after lunch, enjoy the water toys, relax on deck or take in the clear turquoise waters before beginning the journey back towards Ibiza.

6:00 PM – Return Towards Ibiza

As the afternoon progresses, begin the journey back towards Ibiza.

The return route offers fantastic views of the southern coastline and often provides some of the calmest cruising conditions of the day.

6:30 PM – Cruise Along Ibiza’s South Coast

Depending on your charter duration and departure time, your captain may route the yacht along Ibiza’s coastline for a relaxed late-afternoon cruise before returning to the marina.

The golden light reflecting off the cliffs and beaches provides a memorable end to the day.

7:00 PM – Return to Marina

Arrive back in Ibiza Town after a full day exploring some of the most beautiful waters in the Balearic Islands.
