Most Ibiza charters are day based and usually last 8 hours. This gives enough time to cruise, swim, stop for lunch and relax without rushing. Shorter half day charters are possible on certain routes.
Please get in touch with our team if you do need a longer charter, as we can help with charters for longer than 1 day too.
There are plenty of options, and we’ll help you shape a day that fits exactly what you want from your time on the water.
A popular route is heading over to Formentera, often stopping at the island of Es Palmador, a quieter spot that can only be reached by boat.
Before you set off, we’ll talk through your plans with you and your skipper, making sure the route works not just for what you want to do, but also for the wind and sea conditions on the day. That way, you get the best possible experience without compromise.
Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia all offer very different experiences. Ibiza Town suits Formentera and south coast routes, San Antonio is best for west coast beaches and sunset, and Santa Eulalia is quieter and more family friendly. The right port depends on your plan, not just where you are staying.
Bad weather in Ibiza during the summer is rare, but conditions can occasionally change.
If your charter is affected, we will always aim to reschedule your booking to another suitable day. If that is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
Yes, when planned correctly. Calm routes, earlier departures and suitable boats make Ibiza a great option for families. Santa Eulalia and certain coastal areas are particularly well suited to relaxed, family friendly charters.
If you plan to visit popular beach clubs or restaurants, advance booking is strongly recommended, especially in peak season. Some venues also have specific arrival times for boats, which your skipper can help coordinate.
What’s included can vary slightly depending on the boat, so it’s always worth checking the individual listing and speaking with our team before booking. We’ll make sure everything is clear and suited to your plans.

This is a general guide, and details can differ between boats. At Smart Charter, there are no hidden costs, we’ll walk you through everything upfront so you know exactly what to expect before confirming your booking.

Fuel is calculated based on how the yacht is used during your charter, and this can vary depending on the route and boat you choose.
In some cases, we provide a fixed estimate based on a typical route, meaning the cost is consistent for that journey. Alternatively, fuel may be calculated on the day using engine hours and the yacht’s fuel consumption rate, measured directly via onboard systems.
As every boat uses fuel differently, we will always give you a clear estimate when you book so you know what to expect in advance.
You should bring swimwear, towels, sun protection and any food or drinks you would like on board. Soft bags are recommended, as space is limited. High heels and hard suitcases are best avoided.
The main season runs from spring through to early autumn. Outside peak months, availability is more limited and conditions vary, but quieter charters can be very enjoyable.
